Infographics Reflection…

This was my first time designing an infographic. Initially, the assignment seemed easy. I ran into some issues completing the assignment. Early on, it was clear that the pro membership would be better than the free membership. There were several design templates unavailable under the free membership.

The first part of my infographic briefly explains the assessment process. The assessment process is a systematic basis for making inferences about the learning and development of students. In my design, I provide five steps in the assessment process.

1. Identify student learning outcomes.
2. Determine the method of assessment for each student’s learning outcome.
3. Gather evidence.
4. Interpret evidence.
5. Review results and implement changes based on results.

The second part of my infographic briefly defined institutional data collectors, course/program data collectors, and student data collectorsand how the roles work together in the assessment process. I included pictures and graph design to give a more visual representation.

Overall, I enjoyed preparing the infographic assignment. I hope to have another opportunity to work with infographics again. I will become more familiar with Canva and subscribe to the pro membership to make the following assignment easier.
